Answer:
Hara: I heard that Jakarta was flooded again, why is that?
Sinta: Yes, that's right, I think Jakarta is flooding again because of the recent heavy rains.
Not only in Jakarta, even in my area it rained incessantly from morning to morning again.
Hara: Yes, that's right. It rains in my area too. But, I think if the waterways in Jakarta were good, there wouldn't be such high floods.
Because of the floods, many residents were in dire straits because their homes and workplaces were destroyed.
Sinta: Maybe because many rivers and waterways in Jakarta areas are clogged with garbage.
In fact, the Ciliwung River in Jakarta was once dubbed the dirtiest river in the world.
Hara: Hopefully now people's awareness about proper waste disposal has improved so that they are no longer affected by flooding when rainfall is high.
