He was looking for new places with the aim of spreading Islam accompanied by his son.
He arrived in the area of Semarang, which at that time was still called Bergota.
They founded a boarding school there, it turns out that the area is a fertile area.
However, there is one plant that grows rarely (or in Javanese it is called "arang"), which is the tamarind tree, or in Javanese it is called "asam".
This plant later earned the nickname "Asemarang".
Over time, the name Asemarang changed to Semarang and becomes name of that area.
