Time sequences in text 1 serve to show the sequence of events that grade 12 students did during their visit to the botanical garden.
Time sequences in text 2 serve to show the sequence of the wet combing process to deal with head lice.
2. Do you think the two texts have the same purpose in society? Why do you think so?
Answer: No, they don't.
Text 1 is a recount text, the purpose of recount text is to retell to the reader about an event in the past.
Meanwhile, text 2 is categorized as a procedure text, the purpose is to explain to the reader how to make/operate/do something coherently.
So, the two texts do not have the same function and purpose for the society (readers).

Urutan waktu dalam teks 1 berfungsi untuk menunjukkan urutan peristiwa yang dilakukan siswa kelas 12 selama kunjungan mereka ke kebun raya.

Urutan waktu pada teks 2 berfungsi untuk menunjukkan urutan proses menyisir basah untuk mengatasi kutu rambut.
2. Apakah menurut kalian kedua teks tersebut memiliki tujuan yang sama dalam masyarakat? Mengapa berpikir begitu?
Jawaban: Tidak, mereka tidak memiliki tujuan yang sama.
Teks 1 adalah teks recount, tujuan teks recount adalah untuk menceritakan kembali kepada pembaca tentang suatu peristiwa di masa lalu.
Sedangkan teks 2 dikategorikan sebagai teks prosedur, tujuannya menjelaskan kepada pembaca bagaimana membuat/mengoperasikan/melakukan sesuatu secara runtut.
Jadi, kedua teks tersebut tidak memiliki fungsi dan tujuan yang sama bagi masyarakat (pembaca).
