Seperti yang kita tahu, terdapat 5 jenis pronoun yaitu, subject pronouns, menempati posisi subjek dalam sebuah kalimat atau terletak setelah verb ‘be’.
Object pronouns atau complement pronouns, menempati posisi objek atau pelengkap pada sebuah kalimat, baik di melengkapi sebuah verb atau sebuah preposisi.
Possessives pronoun, merupakan kata ganti yang berfungsi untuk menunjukkan kepemilikan.

Possessives adjective, berbeda dengan possessive pronouns. Possessive adjective berfungsi untuk memodifikasi daripada menggantikan noun. Possessive mengindikasikan kepemilikan.
Reflexive pronoun, kata ganti refleksif saat ingin merujuk kembali ke subjek suatu kalimat atau klausa. Reflexive pronouns diakhiri dengan “-self” (tunggal) atau “-selves” (jamak).
